Clinical Work

I am a clinical assistant professor at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the department of Behavioral Pediatrics and Clinical Psychology. In my current role, I work alongside a team of pediatric primary care providers to promote the health, well-being and school readiness of babies and toddlers.

Driven by the belief that all children deserve the opportunity to benefit from mental and behavioral health supports, I seek to mitigate systemic barriers that preclude diverse and marginalized families from accessing psychological services. My professional interests include delivering culturally responsive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, providing systems-level consultation, and conducting translational, value-added research in applied settings.

Using a strengths-focused lens, I strive to promote healthy development and family resilience by mobilizing individual and environmental protective factors that buffer children from risk. My approach to case conceptualization and treatment is informed by my clinical training and experiences in a variety of service settings, ranging from schools to primary care.
